This piece was rendered using spray paints, soft pastels and acrylic paints. The various patterns and spray paint spillage in different directions is to add a certain extent of movement. Both eyes have been painted differently, one is less realistic than the other. 
Each individual, if provided with the right tools and circumstances, is capable of being their most beautiful, empathetic and influential versions. However, we constantly build and add to broken systems, which is why the colours and overall aesthetic of the piece are juxtaposed by the rather utopian message "we could all be glorious".
